The Conservancy will host our annual White Point Home Tour signature fundraiser featuring a self-guided tour of unique area homes . The tour is followed by a reception with beer, wine, music and silent auction. Proceeds from the event benefits education and restoration activities at the White Point Nature Preserve in San Pedro. 2017 event details will be posted soon. Our open spaces are the inspiration for this unique dining experience. The event raises critical funds and increases awareness of the important work of the Conservancy in protecting and stewarding open space and nature. Each year the Conservancy will bring guests to special places amidst nature for a moveable feast throughout the preserves – one year on the beach, the next on the cliffs, another deep in green fields and canyons, and so on. The event will help highlight the important role the community plays in protecting the beautiful and unique environment on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. 2017 event details will be posted soon. Partnering with the Palos Verdes Library District, Marymount California University, Sustainable Palos Verdes Schools - Palos Verdes School Gardens, Palos Verdes Art Center and South Coast Botanic Garden, the Conservancy presented "Queen Sugar" by Natalie Baszile for the 2017 One Book/One Peninsula selection.
