Wildlife Tracking Training

Dedicated volunteers are needed to monitor wild foxes and coyotes in the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve. No experience required and all training provided.

Volunteers will conduct weekly surveys (weather permitting) November through March
– 2 days of training are required and will be conducted on:  Saturday October 16th and 23rd
– A five-month commitment is required for an assigned preserve area
Tasks will include:
• walk a selected section of trail in the preserve
• note and submit observations: scat and paw prints

• Minimum age 16
