 White Point Landslide
On November 20, 2011 about 420 feet of earth and roadway of Paseo del Mar and a small portion of the White Point Nature Preserve slid southward toward the ocean below, moving about 53 feet.  The City of Los Angeles has issued an initial study to reestablish the Paseo del Mar roadway. Four alternatives that are being evaluated.  The Conservancy is dedicated to safeguarding the Preserve from a road traversing through the natural lands. Initial Study of the Paseo del Mar Restoration Project
