October 21, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Literary Series:  Live Virtual Event Featuring Best-Selling Author Charlotte McConaghy

POSTPONED TO FEBRUARY 2022 (To be confirmed)

Join the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy for a new Beauty of Nature book series featuring Author Charlotte McConaghy on October 21, 2021 at 7 pm.  McConaghy is the author of the national best sellers Migrations and the newly released Once There Were Wolves.  McConaghy is based in Sydney, Australia where she will be Zooming live for the event.

McConaghy’s writing is fueled by her love of nature and her interest in stories of fierce women.  Her newest novel, Once There Were Wolves, is about a biologist charged with reintroducing wolves to the Scottish Highlands in order to rewild the landscape and bring a forest back to life. Migrations is a deeply personal look at climate change.  It tells the story of Franny Stone, who seeks out the last flock of Arctic terns in Greenland and then follows them on what might be their final migration. McConaghy links her protagonist’s personal pain to that of the natural world.

Purchase “Once There Were Wolves” and the ticket to Live Virtual Event with Author is included free!
